I wrote earlier that Republicans were anti-intellectual. I must recant. Or rather, I must revise that statement and say that Republics, Democrats, and the whole lot of pocket-pet, fucktarded State politicians are anti-intellectual.
My reason for revising this statement is that I have since done some further research and reflection on free speech in America. Currently, political powers (re: Feinstein and Blum) have made it clear that UC schools will be denied glorious funding if they don’t crack down on supposed anti-Semitic hate speech. What that really means is that they don’t want to hear anyone criticizing Israel.
Oh that innocent, godly nation of Israel. Who is she, really, that great nation?
Megan O’Toole in Al Jazeera, tells of some of Israel’s war tactics in Gaza, and how Israel doesn’t give a shit if civilians are killed:
"This includes repeatedly firing artillery and other imprecise explosive weapons in densely populated civilian areas… In some cases, there are indications that they directly fired at and killed civilians, including people fleeing."

How godly of Israel, indeed. Yet, such is the mounting criticism of Israel’s war tactics that there is even a rallying cry on social media. Facebook has a page devoted to exposure of Israel:

Yet, Feinstein and Blum are not outliers in American politics. Rather, the status quo is to suck Israel’s teat and warn everyone else not to fuck with that sick relationship.
As Ben Norton writes in Mondoweiss:
"The US was the only country in the world to oppose a resolution calling for Israel to be held accountable for war crimes, at the 29th regular session of the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC), held from 15 June to 3 July 2015."
Furthermore:
"The international community is, with few exceptions, united in its desire to see international law respected in occupied Palestine (in the form of an end to Israel’s illegal occupation of the West Bank and East Jerusalem and the cessation of its illegal siege on Gaza) and human rights guaranteed to the indigenous Palestinian population."

But we shouldn’t be surprised that the US dismisses Israel’s blatant war crimes and crimes against humanity. I mean, what else can you expect from a nation that deliberately bombs a Doctors Without Borders hospital? The two nations make great bedfellows.
Politics does not stay within the realm of politics, however. The zany, wacky, evil of politicians seeps spluge-like into the rest of our culture. To wit: Democratic asshats seek to compel college campuses not to let students have free speech.
Glen Greenwald writes in The Intercept:
"Worse, this State Department definition explicitly equates certain forms of criticism of Israel or activism against Israeli government policies with “anti-Semitism.” In other words, the State Department embraces the twisted premise that a defining attribute of “Jews” everywhere is the actions of the Israeli government, which is itself a longstanding anti-Semitic trope."

Greenwald explains how Israel’s Palestinian practices have become comparable to apartheid Africa, and rather than allow that truth to become clearer, Israel and her bed-buddies would rather suppress criticism altogether. Thus, any co-ed who criticizes Israel can be labeled an Anti-Semite and, if Blum has his way, could be expelled from school altogether.
Well, Blum, I have only this to say: suck my fat one. For as long as I am able, I will continue to support those who speak out against crimes against humanity – whether said crimes are done by blacks, whites, Jews, or fucking Santa Claus. I believe in free speech. I don’t always like what I hear, but unlike you, I wear big-kid britches and can handle it.
